Our program is dedicated to empowering young artists who have graduated high school and are navigating the next steps in their creative journey. Through self-discovery, we encourage dancers to stay true to their unique voices while exploring diverse opportunities in the arts. We foster a supportive, tight-knit community where collaboration, growth, and artistic exploration are central. By offering guidance and encouraging openness, we aim to equip our artists with the confidence, tools, and network they need to pursue their passions, whether in dance or other creative avenues. Together, we embrace uncertainty as a path to limitless potential.

Led by Founder and Director Justin Giles, SEGWAY continues to uphold the professionalism, passion, exploration, and support that have defined SoulEscape for over 20 years. We are thrilled to expand upon these profound experiences through our new eight-month program. This extended time together allows us to dive deeper into discovering who we are as both individuals and artists, and to chart meaningful paths forward.

Through our encounters with countless artists over the years, we recognize how challenging it can be to navigate life after high school. With this in mind, we aim to create a space that offers students diverse opportunities and experiences. Centrally located in Dallas, TX, SEGWAY connects students with renowned artists and educators from across the U.S., including hubs like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. The arts offer a vast array of pathways, and our goal is to provide students with as many options as possible.

At SoulEscape, we are committed to staying true to the essence of being human. Building meaningful connections, fostering thought-provoking conversations, and prioritizing one-on-one mentorship with our educators are core elements of this program.

As part of SEGWAY, participants will have the opportunity to perform in two productions: Winter 2025 and Spring 2026. Throughout the year, artists will engage in numerous creative processes with Justin Giles, the SoulEscape company, and our esteemed guest faculty. Participants will perform SoulEscape repertoire as well as new works created specifically for this program. This immersive experience offers students a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry's finest choreographers and educators during our time together, paving the way for valuable connections with fellow artists, companies, and directors that will support their future endeavors.

We’re honored to host our first season of SEGWAY at Ambition Dance Productions. This brand new facility is centrally located within the DFW metroplex. We are excited to build a new relationship with Ambition as we share their space with them and their artists.

Tuition for our 8-month program (September 2025-May 2026) is $17,000. Housing options coming soon!
