THE winter event - january 2-5, 2025

SoulEscape is thrilled to bring back this unique 4-day training event for all artists ages 12 and older on January 2-5, 2025 at KJ Dance in Plano, TX. Join Justin Giles and his esteemed company as you work through creative process exercises, daily journaling and self-reflection, improv workshops, and thought-provoking classes, all within a positive and collaborative space. This intensive is geared towards those who are looking to expand their minds and hearts to learn more about who they are as a human as well as an artist.

For those flying in from out of town, we suggest arriving the morning of January 2nd as we will have class the evening of the 2nd starting at 5pm. We will finish on Sunday January 5th around 2pm. Start you new year off with SoulEscape!

*tuition ($150 deposit due at time of registration, final payments due december 5)

*Dancers Ages 12-18 (High School or Younger) — Before December 5th : $490 / After December 5th : $550

*Professional Dancers Ages 19+ (College / Professional ) — Before December 5th: $375 / After December 5th : $435

*General schedule: January 2 : 5-8pm // January 3-4 : 10-4pm // January 5 : 10-2pm

*Housing and Transportation dependent on artists

New this Winter Event, Chelsea Harper will be guiding an “Aspiring Teacher’s Discussion” offered to our Professional Artists only, FREE of charge. This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn about teaching. We understand that moving from dancing as your passion into incorporating teaching as profession is a big change, and we are here to support you! Whether you are considering become a dance teacher or you’ve just begun your teaching journey, we welcome you to become a part of this discussion.
